The ever-so-lovely MAC Plumful Lustre Lipstick (RRP $36.00) always pops up in favourites and Top 5s, because it is so versatile! I love wearing this one to work because it’s such a great, muted purple toned pink. Great for everyday wear, but just a little different 🙂 Check out my full review here! You can also win this lipstick in my giveaway! Go to my instagram @themintedblog for more details.
Another MAC favourite that is a little different for work is MAC Crosswires Cremesheen Lipstick (RRP $36.00). I always feel like amazing when I wear this. It’s like a muted coral-pink. Gorgeous. I actually have this from the MAC Lip Palette Editorial Oranges, which is one of my most underused products. I always forget about this little gem!
One that’s new on my desk is the Maybelline Color Elixir in Caramel Infused (RRP $17.95) which I found for $7.00 at Kmart – winning! I remember seeing shiwashiful review this shade and I think it suits so many skin tones. I don’t find it particularly sticky but it is definitely a glossier finish than a regular liquid lipstick.
Another long time favourite is the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in Notting Hill (RRP $13.95), which is a lovely brown-toned nude colour. I love how this finish is so moisturising and feels almost nourishing for the lips! Brown Toned nudes were huge in 2014, and will probably continue their reign of nudity in 2015.
Lastly, Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Plum (RRP $21.95) are another moisturising option for work, which to me is super-important, especially when you’re facing long days in drying air-conditioning. This muted plum shade is subtle enough to be professional, and is fresh and on-trend for Autumn here in Australia.
