First and foremost is my beloved YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Nude Beige (RRP $55.00). This is lipstick has fast become my favourite everyday lipstick, for ensuring I look polished and not too undone for that particularly lazy day. It can take your makeup look from drab to dreamy. You can check out my full review here.
The only lip crayon in my ‘everyday’ lip collection, the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Colour Rush in Give Me a Cuddle* (RRP $12.95) is a medium pink beauty that moisturises lips as well as any lip balm could. The jumbo sized crayon applicator makes it super easy to apply to lips. The application is creamy and has a light vanilla scent which makes it a joy to wear (not everyone seems to be a fan of the minty scent from the Revlon Balms).
This is one of the only frosty lipsticks I will wear, and I am really not 100% sure why I love it. It really works with certain corporate outfits and I always feel super professional. It could be the colour, which is an amber rose colour, and the frost isn’t too overpowering. My mum bought me this Elizabeth Arden Lipstick in Desert Rose when she was down in Sydney. Thanks ma!
Victoria Earls was kind enough to send me one of her favourite Wet N Wild Lipsticks in Just Peachy (RRP $7.00) and I’ve loved using this one. It’s a demi-matte lipstick that is a gorgeous peachy pink. It’s quite long lasting too, and lasts well into the day. At only $7 a pop, you can be sure this one is a great investment!
Last but not least is one my my favourites from 2013, Rimmel London Apocalips in Celestial (RRP $15.95) which was actually one of the first reviews that I wrote on this blog 🙂 I still love the wear of this lip lacquer. Glossy, shiny and pigmented. It can get a little messy if you aren’t careful throughout the day, but you get used to the wear of them over time.
