A couple of months ago I posted about an amazing coral lipstick that I had found, claiming that I had found the one. I thought I better do a little more research because hey – finding the perfect coral lipstick occupies my mind more than you would think (i.e. A LOT). Here are my Top 5 picks for the best coral lipsticks.
Revlon Moon Drops Frost Lipstick Crystal Cut Coral
This frost finish lipstick is the most pink toned coral in my collection. It has a more obvious makeup scent than most of my other lipsticks as well. Normally, I don’t particularly favour frost finish lipsticks, but this one is really nice.
Bourjois Colour Boost Lipstick Peach on the Beach
This lip crayon by Bourjois is super creamy, but doesn’t last too long on the lips compared to others. I just love the colour of this one and I love wearing this on casual days.
L.A. Colors Hydrating Lipstick Coral Sheen
The cheapest of the lot at only $2 from Cherry Culture! This one is more red toned than the others in my coral collection, and is super hydrating like the name suggests. I think this exceeds expectations of a $2 lipstick!
Australis Velour Lips Matte Lip Cream Rio-D
One of my FAVOURITE lip creams. Because this is a matte finish, it can be drying, and it does tend to crack a little. But omg. This colour is fantastic. It’s more orange based than the others, and comes out super neon and bright on the lips.
L’Oreal Paris Caresse Lip Lacquer 200 Princess
The only lip lacquer in my coral collection, but I would call this more of a glossy stain a lá YSL. Princess is a beautiful red toned coral, and the smell. OH THE SMELL. It’s fantastic. It’s not very pigmented so this isn’t a product to turn to for a big colour pay off
I really don’t know if I could choose a favourite. I suppose it would depend on my mood for which finish or shade I feel like. Which is your favourite? Are you feeling the coral love with me still?
