Budget Makeup Under $20

First up, a new addition to the Maybelline line is the ever-so-cute Maybelline Baby Lips Balm and Blush (RRP $10.00). These adorable pot balms can be used both on the lips and cheeks, giving you a gorgeous flush of colour.

One of my favourite budget beauty brands, that also happens to be an Aussie brand, is BOE Beauty. Their two ranges, BOE Beauty and BOE Professional, host a large range of super affordable beauty items that are pretty great quality for their cost. My current favourite is the BOE Beauty Base Primer (RRP $9.95), which gives a great, hydrating base for foundation. I find this one quite similar to my regular primer – Mecca Cosmetica Hydrating Primer (RRP $40.00).

Another new release, this time for Nyx (also a new addition to Priceline stores!). I’ve been a fan of Nyx for years, and when they released the new nude Lingerie range in Australia I was ecstatic! The range boasts some gorgeous nude shades suitable for every skin tone. I opted for the darkest in the range – Beauty Mark (RRP $14.95). It has a slightly mousse-y texture with a velvet finish. I personally wouldn’t call this a matte lipstick, but it still provides a gorgeous, pigmented lip that lasts most of the day. It can be a wee bit drying so make sure your lips are in tip-top shape before using this one. I can definitely see myself picking up a few more of these in the future.

A favourite of mine in 2016 has definitely been incorporating illuminating creams into my rountine. The Rimmel London #Insta Flawless (RRP $13.95) can be worn as a cream illuminator on top of your foundation. However, I personally like to use this as a primer, or preferably mixed into my foundation for that extra glow.

The Maybelline Brow Satin (RRP $16.95) was definitely my favourite brow pencil (that is before Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil walked into my life). Regardless, this brow pencil still holds it’s own, and at a fraction of the price. The pencil is double ended, with a cheeky brow powder with sponge applicator in the opposing end. Great for really making those brows stand out.

What are your favourite budget makeup buys? I’d love for you to share them in the comments below!
